Armando Hernandez-Rey, MD is a board-certified reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialist.

As one of only two fertility specialists offering robotic surgery in Miami, Dr. Hernandez-Rey is able to offer minimally invasive surgeries with faster recovery times and minimal scarring, often as an alternative to advanced treatments such as IVF.

Dr. Hernandez-Rey has made dreams come true for hundreds of families from South Florida and across the world. He prides himself on being accessible to his patients to ensure they are calm and reassured, a key component to his success.

Dr. Shah is passionate about inclusive family building for all. As a fertility specialist, she is committed to educate, empower, and provide individualized care as one navigates decisions and choices around reproductive health and growing their family.

Dr. Shah is accomplished in publishing papers, writing textbook chapters and medical humanities poetry, presenting her research at national meetings, and has been awarded teaching accolades by medical students and residents during her training.

Maggie Gonzalez PA-C, MMS graduated from Nova Southeastern University PA Program in 2004 followed by a Trauma/General Surgery and Critical Care Residency at JMH/Ryder Trauma Center completed in 2005.

She practiced as Chief Physician Assistant at Memorial Regional Hospital in Trauma/General Surgery and Critical Care for 11 years.

Maggie is passionate about her involvement in the PA community and in the education of prospective healthcare professionals. She is actively involved in the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, she serves as the Course Director for the Miami Dade College PA program’s Surgical Curriculum and is a frequent speaker on various surgical topics.

Yissell Castro, MSN, APRN, FNP-C is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who graduated from Chamberlain University’s Nurse Practitioner Program in 2025.

Yissell has been a dedicated member of the Conceptions team for nine years. She began her career working closely with Dr. Hernandez-Rey as his nurse, gaining extensive experience in patient care and fertility treatment coordination. She later advanced to the operating room, where she assisted in egg retrievals and embryo transfers, before transitioning into roles as an IVF Nurse and a vital member of the Third-Party Reproduction Department.

Her passion for patient care and team development led her to become an IVF Coordinator, where she supervised a talented team of IVF nurses. Currently, Yissell serves as the Clinical Manager, working closely with all clinical departments to ensure that every patient receives a safe, supportive, and beautiful experience throughout their fertility journey.

Michal Wrotslavsky is an NCCPA Certified Physician Assistant specializing in Women’s Health and Fertility. She is passionate about helping her patients achieve their fertility goals, through incorporating a comprehensive medical approach combined with overall health and lifestyle optimization. Michal earned her Master of Medical Science and Physician Assistant Studies degree from Nova Southeastern University and graduated with distinction.
